Northumberland Estates Holiday Cottages based at Alnwick Castle are delightful examples of traditional Northumbrian design, lovingly cared for and superbly equipped with all the comforts of home. The cottages are owned by the Duke of Northumberland’s Estate.

Lucker Hall Steading Lucker is a small village which consists of a pub, a church, a nursery and about 30 houses, only five minutes drive from the A1 and Bamburgh beach.
In the heart of the village the Steading, which was originally traditional farm buildings, has been lovingly transformed to provide superb holiday accommodation in 6 cottages of varying sizes. Gone-to-Ground Cottage is a unique property for 2 guests. All on one level, it is of exceptionally high quality; spacious, comprehensively equipped and tastefully designed. The bedroom has a substantial king-size bed and large shower room.
A large living room features an open fire, cosy sofas and colourful scatter cushions and there is a superbly equipped and spacious kitchen. Patio doors lead from the living room to a large patio with picnic table and benches. Cinch sleeps 3 and Lavender sleeps 4 in a double and single/twin.
Each are particularly popular for their facilities which include 2 bathrooms, a very well-equipped kitchen and a cosy living room opening to the patio through sliding doors.
Percy sleeps 6 in a double and 2 twins and Claxton sleeps 5 in a double, twin and single. These are spacious cottages also with 2 bathrooms. Downstairs there is a very large kitchen-cum-dining room and cloakroom. The large living rooms have a stone inglenook fireplace with open fire and wonderful arched windows to one side while patio doors lead to the garden on the other.
