We have two ground floor Classic rooms that have been adapted with the disabled in mind.
For lovers of fine food, the Deer's Leap Restaurant offers a wide selection of dishes. Local produce is used wherever possible, with all dishes prepared in our own kitchen. There are always extensive vegetarian and healthy eating options available. Also available for our guests - The Derwent Bar or our non-smoking conservatory with its magnificent views of Derwentwater 'The Queen of the English Lakes' - and the Borrowdale fells beyond are ideal places for relaxation. Be this just to catch up on the world news from the morning paper, partake of a hot or cold beverage, or just sit and admire the stunning views.
The Derwentwater Hotel is delighted to offer its clients free use of the extensive, Oxley's Health Spa - a private haven of peace and tranquility. Oxley's is on the lower slopes of Skiddaw, just a short drive away and offers an atmosphere to rest and relax you. If you wish to indulge yourself, a full range of treatments are available for an extra charge.
There are many local attractions such as the footpath close to the Hotel that leads to the delightful market town of Keswick, about a 20 minute walk. Once there you will find shops selling everything for the outdoor enthusiast as well as picture galleries, cafes and craft shops. The Teapottery, Lesiure Pool and Cars of the Stars Museum are all good fun or you can take a launch for a trip around the lake.
