Welcome to Stable Cottages!

We have charming oak beamed cottages luxuriously furnished and decorated offering you a perfect place to get away from it all. Set in 20 acres of farmland they have outstanding views overlooking the Thames.

The cottages offer comfort, privacy and security rarely found. It is a truly tranquil location with an abundance of wildlife and birds. We welcome families and children and have some toys and games to keep them amused. Children have plenty of room to run around, play games etc. We can also offer a babysitting service in the evenings if you wish to go out for a meal or drink. Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangment.

Each Cottage comprises two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other includes bunk beds some single and some double. There is ample furniture in each room, bath, shower. The lounge-diner has a three piece suite, table and chairs to seat six and a television. The kitchens are fully equipped. There is a garden with a barbeque and tables & chairs for you to use.We have a selection of wellington boots for anyone wishing to go for a walk during the wetter weather.

We live on site should you require anything we are always at hand.

We are very close to the largest Heronry in Europe and also a RSPB reserve. There are also prime walks and cycle routes. It is the perfect base for sight seeing (London is 45 minutes and Canterbury only 30 minutes away by train and by car), walking, bird watching or for people that just want to get away from it all.

We are just fifteen minutes from the historical City of Rochester and six miles from Strood Mainline station.
