The Peveril of the Peak Hotel located in Dovedale in the heart of The Derbyshire Peak District approximately 3 1/2 miles from the Georgian market town of Ashbourne.

The Peveril of the Peak was a destination enjoyed by Alice Beer in the television Holiday program. She stayed here on a bed and breakfast basis and was delighted with the local gentle walks along the River Dove and also hired a bike along the 13 mile Tissington Trail.
